Virdinski’s Rub Shack

In the mood for comfort food? Head over to Virdinski’s Rub Shack for simple, satisfying Texas-inspired fare. Owner Chris Virden has perfected his barbecue and grilling skills in the Kansas City Barbecue Society, traveling and competing in more than 30 cook-offs a year. Wife Anna-Jean Stroinski crafts the delicious from-scratch desserts.

Offering down-home classics such as hand-cut steaks, hickory smoked barbecue, chicken-fried steak, calf fries and a variety of seafood and chicken entrees, the cozy, family-friendly eatery serves fresh-made food every day – you won’t find frozen or reheated food here.
