Serving a full menu seven days a week, The Ranch House Café offers homemade fare in a small-town, Western-style atmosphere.

Patrons can order filling meals all day long, whether they’re craving chicken-fried steak and eggs, a soothing bowl of soup or one of the eatery’s divine, from-scratch pies.

Duck in early to get a slice of one of the pies before just crumbs remain. Good luck choosing between the tart, Dutch cherry apple, the indulgent, coconut cream and the classic, crunchy pecan pie.

The Ranch House Café, 810 23rd St., Canyon, 655-8785, theranchhousecafe.com

Open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.- 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
