We Think Pink: Ladies Night Out

When we were approached about hosting a Pink event a few months ago, Michele and I were immediately interested and got straight to brainstorming. Having been to various breast cancer fundraisers before, we knew what we wanted and alternately knew what we didn't. Early in the planning process we decided to make the night lighthearted and to not take ourselves too seriously.

With that, we bring you We Think Pink: Ladies Night Out on Thursday, October 7, at the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts. The comedians from the Women Who Kick Comedy Butt Tour will keep us in stitches while we enjoy savory and sweet treats from the fabulous folks at OHMS. (We're happy about the cash bar, too.) At intermission, you can participate in a silent art auction and bid on original pieces from area artists.

For the ladies who want to make it a BIG night out, consider going in with your girls and reserving a VIPink box, complete with champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries with a great view of the stage.

Tickets are on sale now at Panhandle Tickets. The best part is that a portion of the proceeds go straight to the Amarillo chapter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, so your impact directly affects the lives of women here in the Panhandle.

Join Michele and I for a ladies-only night of laughs, good food, and good company - all for a great cause. Spread the word, girls, and we'll see you there.
